I USED TO THINK STAYING OFFLINE FOR A DAY COULD SLOW ME DOWN, TURNED OUT THAT IT DIDNT.
I was logged out of my major social media accounts some weeks ago and I noticed how it had an impact on my attitude.
Boy! I never knew that such a experience like this could groom me.
Picture this - you've cooked a sumptuous meal and it's ready to eat, but you don't have a plate to serve the goodness in the pot.
For the days and weeks that this lingered...

I was literally worried for myself and the move for my company.
But guess what?
In the midst of the inner chaos around me, I didn't stop building myself from inside out by journaling my thoughts on my laptop.
Instead of nursing a seed of depression, I read Ben Carson's book on TAKE THE RISK.
I got more involved as a Sign Language teacher in my place of worship.
I got more involved with my family and I noticed how playful I could be with my boys. Gosh!

The amazing fact was that, in the midst of these all,

A young lady had to trail me from my contact on Facebook for a move with her client.
And she figured out that I could be the best person for it. Despite the fact that I wasn't active on Facebook, she trailed me down to WhatsApp by all means.
Some of my clients that I had once worked with, came as return clients. They needed my full expertise on some of their book projects.
Since then, I've gotten quite a lot to handle in the past days and here is what that season of my life teaches me.
1. Endeavor to always make a mark with your niche, people are watching you. It's up to you to put a brand to what they perceive about you.
2. Be so good at what you do- that they'd literally have to trail you down.

3. If you find yourself in the dark, please never stop building. Because your presence in itself is strength.
Finally, it's not about what's around you, but it's about who you are.
.
Tell me, does this resonate with you, too?
I will love to hear in the comment section
