  Seven years ago, I started to post my writings publicly.  They were real, crude and very relatable pieces.  Just simple everyday stories and lifestyle experiences told from the POV of a young black girl who wanted to soar.  I used the word, 'soar' because writing gave me the wings to express my innermost self with clarity and precision.  I didn't study in English language in the university, but I earned the nickname, ' English teacher ' because I did it effortlessly.  I could keep a conversation going, but you would hardly find me starting it- I was that quiet.  I would stay in my room as a serving youth Corp member then and my 500- word post on Facebook would be seen by over 1,000 individuals.  And over 200 people would engage.  You see, the people who cheered me on, encouraged me, and celebrated me back then are still here, today.  Some of them became my students by registering for my writing classes .   Two Foreign Applications in One Month — and Counting! Honestly, this is nothing short of  God’s grace . In just one month, I received  two job applications  from  foreign candidates  who want to work with  The Storytelling Queen Company . I still can’t fully explain how God is announcing this firm, but He’s doing it — visibly, beautifully, and beyond my imagination. I L ove to read in a serene environment, I have figured out how it helps my brain breath, like I can literally feel my brain relax. Of recent, I got to know that meditation is also a sweet pill for me, too . I picked up my Bible to read and I was drawn to I kings 8. King Solomon started well by dedicating his life, the people and the temple to Christ. Bible recorded that he sacrificed 22,000 oxens and 120,000 sheep to God - for such a sacrifice that had never been done before, God gave him a blessing that no man had ever received He became the wisest and the richest man on earth. But as time goes on, his heart was drawn to other wives, thanks to the 700 wives and 300 concubines that he had.  I hope you know how king Solomon's story ended in a sad way. Today, I choose to draw out two lessons from it and I'll share with you. Do that which no man has ever done to God and receive blessings you've never gotten from Him. A   beautiful teenager squatted beside my chair after the Sunday service today.  I didn't see her at first; until her soft palm glided through my arm - she was greeting me.  'Hello,' I turned to her.  Deborah is one lovely girl that I would love to teach over and over again.  Our first ever meeting was in March - the period before Easter, I had organized an insightful two weeks writing and speaking training for the teenagers in my church.  Despite the fact that it was a sponsored program by the church, only five teenagers showed up.  The admin already got my account details and was about to pay for all, when I told him to hold on, that it was just five persons.  Back to Deborah, It's more than a month plus now, and Deborah already curated her first manuscript.  In her words this afternoon, 'Ma, I'm becoming serious about my first book. I was    logged out of my major social media accounts some weeks ago and I noticed how it had an impact on my attitude.  Boy!
